Mr. Zahid Saleem serves as the Additional Chief Secretary (Development) for the Government of Balochistan. He assumed office on 2nd July 2025 and is responsible for overseeing the province’s planning and development initiatives. His leadership focuses on ensuring transparency, accountability, and measurable progress across all development schemes.
Since taking charge, Mr. Saleem has worked closely with the Planning & Development Department, Bureau of Statistics, and the Monitoring & Evaluation Wing to strengthen policy-making through accurate data and effective oversight.
